The Sony DCR-TRV530 is a handheld camcorder that records in standard definition. It has a 25x optical zoom and a 700x digital zoom. The camcorder uses Hi8, Video8, and Digital8 media formats and has removable storage. I have tested the recording, playback and transfer of video onto the computer via FireWire (FireWire cable not included). Comes only with what you see pictured. The battery included charged to a high capacity but did hold it very long and needs replaced if you are looking to make this portable. Also, the hand strap is experiencing some flaking. Also, some wear on the VCR buttons but very usable. Neither are that bad, but I wanted to be as transparent as possible.
